TRAMA Play

TRAMA · built in public · updated daily

Let's build
an MMO.

A low-poly fantasy MMO you play in the browser. Many peoples, one story — and every thread of it is woven in the open.

Vikings, vampires and elves under one sky. One market where every sale is another player. Dragons you can ride across the whole map. A world dressed so that something new shows up every ten seconds on foot. And all of it built where you can watch.

01 · The world

A world you cross, not a menu you click.

02 · The peoples

Many threads.
One weave.

The logo is a loom: coloured threads held together by a single gold bar. Every people is a thread. Two are playable today, the Elves are moving in, and more peoples are on the drawing board: Warlocks, Werewolves, the Sea Folk and the Djinn.

03 · Classes

Same role.
Different way.

Every people covers the four roles of a party. A Viking tank blocks the hit; a Vampire tank drinks it and gives it back. Eight classes today, eight resources, eight finishers.

All eight classes in their plain starting outfits: Shieldwarden, Berserker, Huntress and Skald on top; Crimson Blade, Twilight Warden, Mist Occultist and Hemomancer below.

This week on the loom.

Real captures from the build, not concept art.

World · map audit

Never more than ten seconds of nothing.

We wrote a tool that walks, flies and sails every route and measures how long you go without seeing anything new. In the Viking starting wilds the worst gap on foot was 129–146 s. After dressing the region: 10 s. Places every 120–150 m, a landmark you can see from the air over 84% of the area.

Drag the handle: before / after (top view, same spot).

After: the same crossroads with clustered bushes, rocks and a landmark along both trails.
Before: a bare crossroads with only scattered dots on flat grass.
beforeafter
Frame strips of four new finishers: Berserker Thunder Leap, Shieldwarden Wall Charge, Skald Drum Chorus and Hemomancer Blood Lance.

Combat · finishers

Wait for the glow. Then hit.

Finish the 3-hit combo and the weapon glows for a split second. Click inside that window for the finisher; mash and the combo resets. Thunder Leap, Wall Charge, Drum Chorus and Blood Lance landed this week, with 30 hand-timed attack clips.

Floor plan of The Dragon's Throat: entry landing, Ember Ledge, Sky Bridge, Drake Nest and the boss arena, linked by wind currents.

Dungeon · instance

The Dragon's Throat.

A vertical dungeon inside a giant skull: ride wind currents between platforms, burn through hordes, then dodge the Cinder Matriarch's telegraphs in two phases.

The Berserker axe in six rarities, from a plain Common axe to a glowing Mythic one.

Items · rarity

Common to Mythic, and you can tell from across the map.

Three weapon types per class, upgraded at any city forge. Legendary takes about six weeks for any player profile; Mythic about four months. Simulated before it shipped.

Multiplayer · load test

Six bots, zero ghosts.
